Jonathan Weatherby was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky and graduated from Jeffersontown High school.  Thereafter, he attended Kentucky State University where he graduated from the Whitney Young College of Leadership Studies in 1995.  He went on to Law School at the University of Kentucky and graduated in 1998.  Upon graduation, he became Associate Counsel for the Cabinet for Families and Children until 2001 when he became the Associate General Counsel to Thomas and King, Inc. of Lexington, Kentucky.  While employed by Thomas and King, Jonathan was responsible for overseeing all company litigation in five states and also served as the Company spokesperson. Jonathan was also appointed to the Board of the Lexington Downtown Development Authority where he eventually served as its Treasurer.  In January of 2012, Jonathan left Thomas and King to accept an appointment as an Administrative Law Judge for the Department of Workers Claims.  Jonathan is married with two children and enjoys sports and outdoor activities.
