Douglas W. Gott, is a native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He graduated from Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky College of Law. His private practice focused on workers compensation law from 1991 until he was appointed an administrative law judge with the Department of Workers’ Claims in 2008. He was appointed Chief ALJ in 2017. He was inducted into the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers in 2020. His is a member of the National Association of Workers’ Compensation Judiciary, and sits on its board.
